Over the course of 2022 I got a chance to work twice with Marlon Kubes from Forest Hill Real Estate firm. Both times I was in the tenant role. First time, right at the beginning of 2022, I was very short on time to find a safe, affordable, and convenient place in under a week's time! I stumbled on a listing by Marlon of a place that looked suitable and reached to Marlon. He listened to what our needs were and understood our unique situation of tenant being a full time foreign student and guara ntor located in the United States. He showed a few places including the one we reached out about. Marlon was able to hold an introductory Zoom meeting with the landlords and in less than a week we were able to sign the lease and move in.
Closer to the end of 2022 we were looking for a larger more central place and without hesitation contacted Marlon to locate the new dream place. This time we could afford a longer search, so Marlon showed us a few places that were good but a few times our offers were not taken until a perfect place appeared on the market that we liked. Marlon represented us in front of the other agent landlords. He guided us through collecting and providing sufficient documentation and made the process seamless.
Marlon was very professional, knowledgeable, organized, and easy to work with in both cases. I highly recommend Marlon and the firm to anyone who is looking for a new place in the Toronto area. … – afficher
