I had called in advance of my trip for clarification on the proof of insurance required. Nobody called me back.
When I arrived I provided my proof of full auto coverage as outlined on their site and a credit card with full travel coverage. I was told that was insufficient and, at 8pm on a Sunday, I was told the only coverage they would accept is to have my broker send them a full insurance policy for review. I have rented dozens of cars and never had to do this!!
When I asked about my credit card, the attendant told me he already looked it up and it didn't provide coverage. That is a lie!
When i asked to speak with a ***r I was told that was impossible and I would have to wait until the next day. They then refused to rent me a car.
Avoid this company at all cost!
I rented from Enterprise the next day and was driving out the door in less than 5 minutes without and hassle about insurance! … – afficher
