I had Craftsman Drafting Service do some work for myself. When Randal was finished the drawings were very poor quility. I talked to Randal to have the plans to be redone 3 times. Finally i had to fire Craftsman Drafting Service. I dont recommend Craftsman Drafting Service.
I have been purchasing from this shop since 2012, 1 1/2 years since it opened when it was on McGarrigle Rd. Yesterday I went into the shop to purchase coils and I had to renew my DL and only had a paper copy (either girl didn't even look at it). I was asked for ID but did not have any pic id on me. I'm 62. no one in their right mind could mistake me for younger than 20, NO ONE. 🙄 I was told that they would not make an exception because of a court case. So now your customers are being penalized because
a CSR sold to someone underage. I left really frustrated and went to the other store in Metral Station. I got the same hassle but adding insult to injury as I'm turning to leave the girl said ' please step out' totally unnecessary and extremely rude. Had I ordered online this would not have been a problem. Not only is the customer service rude but there is never enough stock, it's always out of something I have been purchasing for years. I work in retail and there are often customers who are angry or frustrated, this is part of the job. I don't take it personally because I understand how they feel. Where I work the customer comes first always, it is a highly successful company for that reason. The kids today don't have a clue how to treat customers because most are coming from and entitlement attitude. I will never again shop at this business anywhere or online.
I was disappointed when I showed up two weeks ago to have my hair cut. The stylist had to redo colour for the client that was before me, which made the appointment time later. I suggested to re-book for a later date (two weeks later) with the stylist; however, two weeks later, I end up with a totally different stylist - not the one that I had originally booked with. Very disappointed that Liz Kerr (Manager) did not communicate this to me as I really wanted to have my hair cut by the first stylist
I have to admit I was nervous and excited about getting my brows done. Meredith put my mind at ease! She is a lovely lady, extremely knowledgeable about her work. Worked with Jim to find a property to renovate and found him to be extremely professional and communicative throughout the process. If you are looking for a real estate agent that does more then just send through listings that are posted online in North Vancouver then this is the guy to go to.
Not a company to be trusted! You will see some great reviews BUT you may be someone like me who paid their deposit to secure the materials and labour for a scheduled project, the owner Karan (aka Kory), will have the audacity to not do the work and keep your deposit.
Karan/Kory will give you every excuses why they couldn’t do the work and will push you out for months. Then, to finally agree to return the deposit, they will come back with more excuses.
My hopes is to give you some perspective
of their unethical and unprofessional conducts. If you’re the unlucky one like me, he will not hesitate to keep your money without rendering any service.
Michelle is a skilled massage therapist who really knows how to get at one's problem points and work them out. She also provides a relaxing atmosphere as well as a terrific therapeutic massage. I can't recommend her highly enough!
I was locked out of the car in a wash bay with many cars behind me,Matthew happened to be in the parking lot and so so kind a courteous,not to mention fast! He had me out of there and happy in less than a minute,what great service!
Used to enjoy going into this store but in the past two years, the front customer service has declined badly. Pharmacists are excellent and gracious, but the lack of manners and friendliness when purchasing at the front is downright depressing. I won't shop there anymore. :(
What a disappointment. Not only because of the haircut I left with (unfinished) but that the stylists treated me as though I was the problem and not the stylist’s inability to execute an angled bob that tapered at the back at the neckline.
True this is not an easy cut. It requires an understanding of angles & blending but after 4 separate visits, I believe I gave the stylist ample opportunity to refine her approach to my hair cut. Each time I went home, & with my husband’s help, chipped away
at the bulk at the back of my head to get the taper / layers I wanted at the nape of my neck.
This time, the stylist did the cut & when I mentioned she still didn’t get the look I was after, she attempted to course-correct without a plan. This is too long a debacle to share, suffice to say that at one point, I had the comb & scissors in my hand to show her where the unwanted bulk was. I had no intention of cutting it. I just wanted to show her how I “chip into it” when I got home. But she said, go ahead. Cut it. 😳
I used to be in the hair biz specializing as a hair colour tech so I know how delicate it is trample on someone else’s work. I’ve also been a graphic designer, & am now an abstract artist & creative coach so dealing with angles, precision, creativity & people are not foreign concepts to me.
At one point, as my stylist went to town on my hair, cutting at the top instead of the bottom? I asked her to stop and sit with me. She sat and stared at me. I asked what her plan was. She didn’t have one she said. She didn’t know what to do. It seemed that I was attempting to coach how to find her way in cutting my hair. I demonstrated several times where the unwanted bulk & weight was.
She didn’t get the taper concept and she didn’t get how the shorter hair at the back of my head needed to “connect” somehow across the hair in between to the longer front - those two lengths. A 6” length difference side by side isn’t going to cut it! No pun intended.
I asked what should we do? “I don’t know” she said. Yikes! This is not the first time I’ve heard I don’t know from her. That happened last time when she cut my hair shorter at the front than I had asked. Her response then additionally was, “it’s gone now”. No kidding.
The kicker for me today was the end result of her asking her two colleagues to step in. Good idea but,….
The first asked me what I had wanted. I showed her the exact gesture I showed my stylist when I came in where I pushed up the back hair to demonstrate how short and angled and also showed how long to leave the front. This new stylist looked at my haircut & said, “yes, this needs to be tapered here at the nape, take out the weight. I’d do it but don’t have time right now, but I can do it tomorrow. “
The second stylist came with a different approach. “I know nothing, fill me in. Do you have a picture? Show me a picture from your phone. Do you have one?
I finally located images out of the plethora of photos I have. I showed the cuts and explained (as I did 2 other occasions on previous visits) how these cuts were what I liked but I wanted the back shorter, higher and less heavy near the nape.
She then proceeded to inform me that “no one here can make me happy.”
So their lack of ability doesn’t exist and this is my fault? (I had managed to finish this cut several times at home, albeit $70 later.)
I replied that this wasn’t a happiness problem. It was a communication problem. Furthermore, I politely reminded her that her colleague said she knew what needed to be done but she couldn’t do it until the next day.
She repeated her statement about this not being the place for me. (You mean you don’t want to bother to fix this.)
I left followed by her gestures of patronizing well wishes, good luck and other such pathetic nonsense.
When I got home, my husband & I took the scissors to it. Again.

This has been the worst place I've ever lived in. It's really hard to breathe because people smoke inside all the time. They recently put a fan in the hallway. I guess so the smoke can just blow all over the place. No one does anything about issues here. They just deflect blame so nothing gets solved. They're supposed to help with housing in this place but they don't bother. If anything goes wrong at Mazarian Lodge no one takes any responsibility. Why would they when you have over 40 women that
live here to blame? It's been a disappointing experience overall. If you've been in prison before then maybe this place would be normal life for some you. Manipulating, lying, making a spectacle of yourself might be really entertaining to some people. Other people want to improve their lives and not go two steps backward. No one gets better here. Only worse. People just loose hope.
I was really impressed with the quality of the cut , but was charged $ 20 more because my lil girl was not " fixed " She knew when I made the appt and when I dropped her off but said nothing till I went to pay her . found that very odd .
Contracted in writing for about $56k of work in June 2021. Put a $28k deposit down. They completed about $14k of work in the fall of2021 based on their written quote. In May 2022 they refused to complete the contract and said “prices have gone up”. They refuse to pay the $14k they owe nor complete the contract. That has been my experience.
My review is 100% accurate and the truth. Moving day, Dec. 30th,/22 the guys were supposed to be at my apartment at 11:00am, they walked into my apartment at 8:00am. I said to them, what the frack are you guys doing here, the appointment was for 11:00, look at my sheet they said I have 8:00am, Your time is wrong. I lived on the second floor, 10 feet from the movers elevator. I had moved everything from my apartment to the movers elevator, except for 15 boxes, which I was going to move to the elevator
, before the guys showed up 3 hrs ahead of schedule.
I had the elevator booked at my new apartment in Campbell River between 3- 4 pm. So these moving guys were taking their time to load the truck. It took them 2 1/2hrs to load, they could have loaded in 1 1/2 hrs.
So 1 1/2 hrs @ $120,00 = $180.00 To unload it took longer because the distance from the truck to the elevator and from the elevator to my apartment it took them 3 1/2 hrs. So total hrs to load and unload took 5 hrs @ $120.00 = $600.00, final bill 7.25 hrs @ $120 =$870.00 = $270.00 difference.
So this one is even better. Travel time from Nanaimo to Campbell River is 1 1/2 hrs, return travel travel time is 1 1/2 hrs for a total of 3 hrs So 3 hrs @ $120.00 = $360.00, final bill 4.75hrs @ $120.00 =$570 difference $210.00.
Adding hrs beyond the actual hrs on a final bill is called padding, this is fraud, and is a sign of GREED. If they do this to every customer, it adds up.
The mover who prepared the final bill, I got into an argument with him regarding the cost. I paid the bill and said to myself, I will recover what is owed to me. Total cost for a one bedroom move was $1,702.00, way too much.
If you, family or friends have retained this moving company in the past two years, check your final bill. You have up to two years to file a claim in small claims court.
I emailed them a week ago, asking for credit of $390.00. No response.
Their response to my review may not be the truth.
P.S Skyler, one of the movers asked me at my old address, “is this your paint poll” I replied yes. It was brand new. Well it is not at my new address. Even their employee’s steal from you.
Before the movers left my old address, I gave them $20.00 each to buy lunch, go figure !!
It has been a year and half since I gave Matt Fanning a deposit to install exterior doors. Once he received the deposit he NEVER contacted me again. I had to contact him and listen to his excuses of why he couldn't install the doors. Now all he does is give me excuses as to why he can't repay my deposit. Another person has since installed my doors with NO supply issues and it was done promptly! Matt Flanning seems to be in the business of theft not doors.
I can always count on finding the right piece at the House of Lily Kio. The uncanny knack of owner, Shai, for always keeping eclectic pieces of clothing and accessories on hand makes visiting a real pleasure. Shay, knows how to pick great staff, customer service is always at the forefront. Being a long time loyal customer, its like visiting a friend.
I’m new to Tahsis. I applied for a job here recently and got a reply from the owner today. I had heard many negative things since I moved here, but I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, & treat everyone nicely until I’m shown otherwise. I’ve never experienced such immaturity from a business owner. I’m appalled and disgusted. Here’s another honest review from someone on another review site with my screenshots. You were warned.

I have visited the Belmont Dental Centre in Langford BC as a new patient without any issues. The hygienist managed to partially clean 4 front teeth with some deposits in about 30 minutes, and wanted me to come back for another session. Then came the new patient exam. I was told that a panoramic x-ray is required, as did not have one in the past 5 years. I agreed to that. Then the dentist came and started to tell me that additional nine (9) x-rays required before the new patient exam.
I do not
think that without looking on the panoramic x-ray, and without looking on the patient oral condition is reasonable to ask for 9 x-rays. However the dentist insisted. It was the point to walk away. The overall experience is poor. A caring doctor should listen a patients concerns, which in my case was for the excessive x-rays. Was no visual check or looking on the panoramic image was done prior requesting 9 additional x-rays. Overall the worst dental hygienist and worst dentist first impression experience.
Be careful dealing with these people, they are not very honest. After demanding a non refundable down payment on a vehicle Mike asked for payment in full 4 days later even though the vehicle was not ready for shipment as agreed. At this time I suffered a severe heart attack and was hospitalised for 2 1\2 weeks with heart surgery. When I got out of hospital I discovered Mike had cancelled the contract and kept the down payment. I reached out to his supposed partner but received no answer. So beware
of this shady operation, they will shaft you if you're not careful.
Staggering lack of customer service, responsiveness, productivity, and efficiency. The products themselves are excellent quality, but the service during and after installation was abysmal. The contractor (Doug) disappeared for weeks at a time leaving tools and debris in our kitchen. Jane often ignored our calls and texts, particularly after the final invoice had been paid. We never received a finished piece of quartz behind our oven despite weeks of calls and texts being ignored. We were overly
generous with our patience, our tolerance, and definitely our money. In the end, our good nature was abused. We recommend the materials, but not the service.
I stuck by Shawan for 8 years, and even followed her to this new firm. She has been unable to resolve my high conflict file and, unfortunately, would not even take ownership of the mistakes she made. I really regret having recommended her to a friend, who was shocked about Shawan's demeanour and failure to know the basic details of her file in court. After my last phone call with Shawan, I am shocked and amazed as well, and I would not recommend her practice or firm again.

I passed on my first try with only 4 lessons with Jamshid. Jamshid is an amazing teacher and made me comfortable on the road. I used to have terrible driving anxiety and hated it but Jamshid made me comfortable on the road and a confident driver. He is also a very nice guy and truly wants to help you pass. Best teacher ever!
